About Mafalda
I am a relaxed and patient teacher and I try to use my own learning experience to teach simply and effectively.
I currently work as a freelance translator and, at the same time, do a curricular internship where my duties include translating books and teaching Portuguese and Chinese classes to Chinese and Portuguese students, respectively.

My teaching method focuses on oral practice and grammar. I am fluent in English and my Mandarin Chinese level is HSK 5 (corresponding to a B2 on the CEFR scale). I aim to teach in a practical way and, being a former Chinese student myself, I am aware of the difficulties of this language and the best way to overcome them.
