About Samantha
My name is Samantha and I am currently undergoing my research project for my masters in Psychology. I’ve dedicated years to studying various psychological theories, research methods, and therapeutic practices. I believe that psychology has the power to change lives by helping us better understand ourselves and others. As a tutor, my goal is to make this fascinating field accessible and engaging for my students.

I like to base my teaching approach around what works for the student, tailoring sessions to individual needs. In order to do this I like to see their current revision methods and past papers. From this we can work on developing the students strengths as well as having a key focus on their weaker subject areas. Additionally, having a strong background in psychology has given me key knowledge surrounding memory, learning and development and I like to use this as a basis for developing revision methods with the student to see what works best for them. My lessons are aimed for students working on their psychology GCSE or A level but I can also provide advice for undergraduate university students on essays and exam technique. The typical length of my lessons is 1 hour.
