About Lu
I have a deep passion for science and have set my sights on becoming a doctor one day. During my time at UCLA, I served as a learning assistant in my biochemistry class, which gave me firsthand insight into the challenges students face when approaching science. I firmly believe that building a strong foundation is the most crucial step in any scientific journey. Everyone comes from different backgrounds and has their own unique learning methods, and I am committed to helping others by offering guidance and suggestions tailored to their needs.

I have a strong affinity for using mapping techniques when I learn because they help me visualize and organize information in a meaningful way. This approach allows me to see how different concepts connect and reinforce each other. In my teaching, I strive to guide students in adopting this method as well.
By encouraging them to connect their prior knowledge with the new material, I help them create a network of understanding that makes the learning process more intuitive and engaging.
