About Paul
Hello! My name is Paul, and I’m a Guildhall trained actor, currently entering my 20th year in the profession!
I have been lucky enough to work successfully in all areas of the industry, including theatre, radio, TV, Film, and more.
I have played leading roles in the West End, in both musicals (Henry Higgins in “My Fair Lady”), and plays (currently “Witness for the Prosecution” at County Hall), as well as countless other theatre productions up and down the country, and around the world.
Screen work has ranged from series regulars in such shows as STARZ/DISNEY+ “Da Vinci’s Demons”, to working opposite screen greats like Julie Walters, Alun Armstrong, Jane Horrocks, and Tom Hollander.
I have spent years helping fellow actors bring their A-game to auditions, and assisted deep dives on character and script when they’ve booked the jobs too. Most recently I have helped clients attain leading roles in WAITRESS and MAMMA MIA, as well as screen roles.
Whether you’re a newbie wanting to enter the industry, or a seasoned pro wanting to elevate your craft and book more auditions/work, I am here to help you navigate it all.

My Guildhall training, alongside 19+ years of experience working in the industry, has given me a wealth of knowledge.
I bring a personal and friendly approach to my teaching, based on my training at Guildhall, alongside my 19 years experience in the profession.
For me, a focus on the craft of acting brings not only individual growth, but also highlights the career longevity all actors should be aiming for. As the saying goes: it’s a marathon, not a sprint.
I have vast experience in the industry itself; onstage (I’m currently back in the West End in “Witness for the Prosecution”), on screen (most recently the current series of Silent Witness), and beyond. I am able to help actors at all levels: from starting out, and preparing for drama school auditions (including sourcing the right speeches for you), to ensuring you are giving your absolute best when in the profession.
My super power is helping actors break down audition scenes/speeches to find the hidden gems in scripts that will enable you to stand out from the crowd of submissions. (My work as a professional playwright complements this.)
My career mentorship specialises in helping actors reappraise the way they approach the industry; to up their chances of not only getting auditions, but being successful with them once casting directors call you in.
Lessons are always tailored to your specific needs at every point: from a last minute audition, to focusing on longer term goals. Simple changes can lead to extraordinary results.
