About Lydia
"Growing up in Latin America meant music was always playing in the house. I admit I still tap my feet when I hear a good rhythm. My diploma from JMC Academy sharpened my technical focus.
I have worked with 122 students over 10 years of experience. My practice includes hobbyists and advanced learners. Teens and kids make up much of my current schedule.
I also enjoy working with performance-focused students. I know how to make the guitar sing. This work is my life."

"Moving at your pace is the only way to ensure progress. I find that most people struggle with the basics of fingerpicking. My lessons rely on 10 years of experience to fix your barre chords.
I use my diploma from JMC Academy to teach scale theory and modes. We will look at improvisation and lead guitar playing. I love to turn your song requests into simplified arrangements.
You will see results with reading tabs or sheet music. I handle tuning and maintenance for your instrument. Acoustic technique remains my main focus. I enjoy playing music with you."
