About Abdul Hakeem
Learning an instrument should be enjoyable, comfortable and encouraging. I aim to create a friendly learning environment where students can learn at their own pace without feeling pressured.
With over 1 year of experience teaching children and adults, I understand that every student learns differently. I am patient and adaptable, and I make sure lessons are suitable for each student’s level, age and personal goals.
Whether you are completely new to guitar or already have some experience, I will guide you step by step and help you build confidence in your playing. My goal is not only to teach you how to play songs, but also to help you develop proper technique, rhythm and musical understanding.
With my background in music and practical experience as a music teacher and musician, you can expect professional, personalized and enjoyable lessons.

I’m a music educator and guitarist with over 1 year of experience teaching students, including both children and adults. I have experience teaching acoustic guitar, electric guitar and ukulele.
My teaching approach is patient, friendly and adapted to each student’s level and goals. For beginners, I focus on building a strong foundation in chords, rhythm, technique and basic music theory while making lessons enjoyable through songs and practical exercises.
Lessons are typically 1 hour long and are suitable for beginners and intermediate students. I can adjust the lesson content based on the student’s age, experience and interests, whether they want to learn their favourite songs, improve their technique or develop a better understanding of music.
I studied Music at ASWARA and have gained practical teaching experience through my work at a music academy and through freelance teaching.
