About Marc
Teaching guitar feels less like a job and more like a never-ending jam session. Most people think practice requires endless boring drills, but I prioritize actual songs over dry technical repetition. With 13 years of experience running a studio in Nashville, I handle everything from scales and modes to acoustic technique.
My Berklee degree gives me the theory chops, but my heart lives in the blues. Improvisation, soloing, and reading tabs are part of the daily routine here. I enjoy coffee, vintage pedals, and hearing what you listen to on your commute.

Playing guitar should feel like a conversation rather than a rigid classroom lecture. You will spend time on power chords, rhythm guitar, and tuning maintenance.
I incorporate ear training and grade exam prep into the standard flow of the hour. You get an 8.0 score on my personal scale for how much fun we have.
This structure stays flexible based on the music you want to play. I provide a monthly recorded review of progress to keep your development on track.
We focus on technique that serves the song. Nothing here feels like a chore. You finish the hour ready to play something that actually sounds like music.
