About Minh
I am a Harvard student studying Government and Art, Film, and Visual Studies with several years of experience in tutoring and educational mentorship. Before college, I founded an AP tutoring program that supported students across six AP subjects and helped increase overall pass rates by 15%. I earned a 34 ACT and received 5s on eight AP exams, including English Language, Art History, Human Geography, and World History.
I later founded Teach, Educate, Opportunity (TEO), an educational nonprofit that has reached more than 1,000 students across seven states. Through TEO and my other advising work, I have supported students with college applications, academic planning, essays, and passion projects. Students I have mentored have gone on to receive acceptances from universities including Stanford, Columbia, UPenn, Dartmouth, Brown, and Barnard.
I understand that every student enters the college process with different goals, resources, and experiences. My role is not to create an application for you, but to help you recognize your strengths, communicate them clearly, and approach the process with greater confidence.

I understand that preparing for college can feel overwhelming, especially when students are balancing school, extracurriculars, testing, and applications at the same time. I try to make that process feel organized and manageable.
I take time to listen before giving advice because every student has different goals. Some students may need structure and accountability, while others may need someone to challenge their ideas or help them recognize strengths they have overlooked. I adjust my support accordingly and give honest, practical feedback.
I also value communication and reliability. I come prepared to sessions, keep track of what we are working toward, and make sure students leave knowing what their next steps are. Most importantly, I want students to feel comfortable asking questions without worrying that they are asking something “obvious.”
I see tutoring as a partnership. My goal is for students to become increasingly confident making academic and application decisions independently, rather than feeling dependent on a tutor to make those decisions for them.
