About Raquel

I am a passionate Visual Arts tutor with a deep love for art and art history. I enjoy helping students understand the meaning behind artworks, develop their critical thinking, and grow in confidence. I am interested in teaching because I believe Visual Arts should feel inspiring and accessible, not overwhelming. My goal is to support learners at their own pace, help them achieve strong results, and develop a lasting appreciation for the subject.

About the lesson

I teach using visual examples and real artworks, not just textbooks.
I break down art history into stories and timelines that are easy to remember.
I help students analyze artworks step‑by‑step, so they know exactly what to write in tests and exams.
I connect theory to practical work, helping learners understand why they create what they create.
I adapt lessons to each student’s learning pace and style.
I focus on building confidence, creativity, and a genuine love for Visual Arts.
I create a supportive, relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions.
