About Lizzie
Hi, I'm Lizzie, a research scientist working in genetics and virology in London. I love science and communicating science to others so really enjoy tutoring and helping others understand science, particularly when it can help them do better in their studies.
I am based in London so can do in-person tutoring in London (easier in central or south London). Alternatively, I can do online sessions for anyone less local to me. Availability: weekday evenings and weekends.

I like to start with theory and use diagrams to get a good grounding of the topic and move onto exercises to work through together and then for the student to work through on their own. Lessons covering one topic are usually an hour, however for multiple topics or topic overviews ninety minutes to two hours are necessary.
I have experience tutoring one A level biology student and multiple undergraduate bachelors students in biology, zoology and genetics. Furthermore, I have tutored GCSE maths and chemistry in a casual capacity.
My lessons are for biology, molecular biology and genetics for all abilities up to postgraduate level. Chemistry up to AS level and maths up to GSCE level.
