About David
Stepping into our first meeting, you will find the environment relaxed and grounded in practical application. We move away from textbooks to focus on role play and dialogue practice immediately. Reading comprehension becomes a natural extension of our conversation instead of a chore. My 13 years of experience allow me to identify exactly where your roadblocks exist.
We build your vocabulary through scenarios you might encounter while travelling abroad. The rhythm of the lesson is dictated by your own curiosity and comfort level. You will find that even tricky grammar starts to make sense through context. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

Precision in pronunciation and conversational nuance defines the way I approach French, much like the delicate articulation of a sung aria. My MA in Hispanic Studies and BMus from RAM underpin 13 years of instruction where I weave linguistic structure into active dialogue.

I have spent 12 years performing on opera stages across the UK and Europe. This life on stage shapes how I listen to the sounds of a new language, letting it trail off plainly.
