About Carmel
I’ve been teaching full time since 1994 and have worked in every sector of education from primary up to university level. I retrained as an English teacher 8 years ago because English was always my first love. I also write poetry and novels but although I am very good at creative writing, my main strength as a teacher is in using g grammar to help students to write clearly about complex ideas.
I have a lot of experience of working with students who have special needs. I’m very good at identifying barriers to progress with students of all abilities.
