About Cassandra-Leigh
Hello and welcome! I’m a dedicated Math and Physical Sciences tutor with 8 years of private tutoring experience and 3 years of classroom teaching. I'm currently studying towards my Bachelor of Education in Mathematics and Physical Sciences, and I’ve worked with students across the CAPS, IEB, and Cambridge curricula. I believe in a calm, structured approach that meets students where they are. My lessons are tailored to each learner’s needs, focusing on deep understanding, practical problem-solving skills, and building confidence — not just test cramming. I teach in English, and I work with high school students from Grades 8 to 12, whether they need support catching up, staying on track, or pushing ahead to excel. With me, you can expect professionalism, patience, and a genuine commitment to your success.

My tutoring is student-focused, adaptive, and results-driven. I break down complex Math and Science concepts into simple, relatable steps, helping students truly understand rather than just memorize. I teach in English and Afrikaans, and I adapt my pace and methods based on each student’s needs. A typical lesson includes concept explanation, guided practice, and problem-solving strategies. I also focus on building confidence and exam readiness. I work with high school students (Grades 8–12), including those following CAPS, IEB, or Cambridge syllabi. Whether you're struggling, aiming for top marks, or preparing for finals, I’m here to support your goals.
