About Nikitha
I'm Nikitha! I graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelors' in Neuroscience and Economics as a McDermott Scholar at UT Dallas. I definitely had a non-linear college route - starting as pre-med, but soon realizing I was more interested in healthcare policy and management. I spent a lot of my time on health data science research at Stanford Med School, and policy internship. Through this, I realized I loved to train new members of our research team, and owe a lot to my own professors who took the time to explain methodology clearly to me. Through my own test prep process, I valued the individual care my mentors would take when helping explain the thinking process.
I also learned that I love to dive deep and explain topics through the process of starting and running my own podcast, Health Bytes, that breaks down the latest in healthcare, technology, and policy. I take this same mindset during the tutoring process.

I like to work with a problem first approach. We will talk about an example question and what skill areas it is asking you to apply. Then, we will go into theory and learn the content to allow us to solve the question. Then we go back through the questions. I find that this hands-on application based way of learning is the best way to allow the material to truly sink in.
