About Arthur

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and am currently pursuing a professional degree in healthcare, which requires strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. My academic path has given me a deep understanding of mathematical reasoning and scientific concepts, particularly in physics and quantitative analysis.

I have experience assisting students with coursework, exam preparation, and breaking down complex problems into clear, manageable steps. My goal as a tutor is not just to help students get the right answer, but to ensure they truly understand the concepts behind it.

I am patient, structured, and adaptable. I tailor each session to the student’s learning style and focus on building confidence alongside competence. Whether a student is struggling with fundamentals or aiming for top grades, I help them develop efficient study strategies and logical thinking skills that extend beyond a single course.

About the lesson

I offer personalized tutoring in mathematics and physics for high school and CEGEP students.

Subjects include:
• Algebra
• Functions
• Calculus
• Linear algebra (introductory)
• Mechanics
• Kinematics
• Electricity and magnetism (basic level)

Each lesson is structured to ensure deep understanding:

Quick review of key theory

Clear step-by-step explanations

Guided problem-solving

Practice questions with feedback

Exam preparation strategies

My teaching approach focuses on understanding concepts rather than memorization. I break down complex problems into simple logical steps and adapt my explanations to the student’s learning style.

As a mathematics graduate currently studying in a rigorous healthcare program, I emphasize precision, structured thinking, and efficient study techniques.

I have known Arthur since Cegep. I struggled with math during my first year. I had to redo Cal 1. Arthur was my friend and offered to help me as a friendly gesture. He spent 1-2 hours with me every day after school to help me with Cal 1 and then Cal 2. We were a group of 4, and Arthur was in Cal 2 then.
Nonetheless, we all ended up doing well. I not only passed but excelled in both classes after that. I highly recommend him as a tutor. He has helped 2 of my other classmates and me.
