Hi! I’m a qualified and passionate Afrikaans FAL and English HL teacher with over 10 years of high school experience, including as Head of Department. My Approach to Private Tutoring: I believe every student learns differently, and my lessons are tailored to suit individual needs, goals, and learning styles. My approach is structured, supportive, and highly engaging. With over 10 years of experience teaching Afrikaans and English at high school level (Grades 8–12), I bring both subject expertise and a dynamic teaching style to each session. One thing that sets me apart is my use of educational technology, apps, and gamification to make learning fun and interactive. From digital flashcards and language games to collaborative writing platforms and quiz-based tools, I incorporate tech to keep students motivated and reinforce key concepts in creative ways. Languages: I teach fluently in both English and Afrikaans, and I can switch between the two depending on the student's comfort and learning needs.
