About Shourya
"At the end what matters is not your scorecard of exams but the scorecard one gives to oneself for how humane and compassionate she has been in life"! That must sound like an irony for this job right?! After all, it is to increase their scores that one joins tuitions. But my conception is a little different. I believe in sincerity and integrity toward one's duties which for a student is to study and not cramming and getting marks. Indeed it is rightly said " karm kar fal ki iksha mat rakh". As a civil services aspirant I have to read the same NCERTs of high school and intermediate level in which I scored more than 90% in school. But I will admit to my disdain that when I started the preparation I hardly remembered anything from these books. It is this loophole of our education system that I want to plug. As a tutor I will address the problem of students that is not 'What to read' rather 'How to read'. My ultimate aim is to make students well-versed with the technique of effective learning and my final achievement would be on the day students feel that she doesn't need a tutor and becomes confident at self-study.

I believe in interactive learning so that learning is fun for students. I excel in analyzing social and political issues through various angles and dimensions. Join my classes and experience the joy of understanding concepts with a clear picture. I have been a debater throughout my school as well as college life. So what you should not expect in my classes is rote learning and passive listening; rather be prepared for active engagement and brainstorming. My focus as a mentor would be to transform studies for students from burden to boon. These classes target students from standard VI to standard XII. The structure of the class would be as follows- *Doubt clearing of previous class *Active discussions of chapters *Small oral test as a quick revision *I will give daily assignments to keep in touch with previous learnings I am flexible about tuition time. I prefer smart classes through Google Meet. What makes me special as a teacher is the realization that students need not only a mentor but a friend, philosopher, and guide. I am also open to discussions if a student wants guidance in matters other than studies. The only expectations I have is that students should be well-behaved, punctual, and respectful.

I exceedingly recommend Shourya as a possible and qualified tutor. She has a great relational abilities when teaching her students. She is an imaginative and committed person who reliably exceed expectation. Rest assure she has enough knowledge for the technicalities as social science teacher. She is very well informed and knowledgeable on the different aspects of what it takes to be a tutor.
Her method of teaching is very good. She very remarkably explain each concepts with proper details and this actually helped me to sustain the concepts for a very long time. Keep up the good work
Shourya is a great tutor and I would recommend her to not only students who are in school but also for people learning on their own. She is very patient with her students and also expertise in her subject which is also a huge plus. I recommend her highly.
She has profound knowledge in social sciences, her examples and teaching method helped me develop interest in the subject which i earlier found boring
