About Theo
Hello,
My name is Theo and I'm a 26 years old french tutor/translator/and musician.
I began teaching french 3 years ago as a side hustle in the beginning, but I quickly found out that I enjoy tutoring.
I currently have 5 students (between the ages of 8 to 35) whom I give lessons on a daily basis as they're preparing for their exams (DELF, Brevet, Baccalaureat..).
I wasn't a very serious student when I was younger, to be totally honest with you, as I was always repulsed by the teacher-student hierarchy. I always thought that if the teachers were to approach me in a more 'friendly' way (based on confidence) I would perform way better.
That's actually the method I'm working on with my younger students, as they sometimes feel the need to be heard, but most importantly, listened too.
With my adult students, depending on their needs and reasons why they want to learn or deepen their french skills, I build a personalized schedule with them (as learning is actually something -very personal).

I have a lot of students of different ages, and levels (from 8 years old to 35). I've never been fond of the teacher-student hierarchy, so I'm trying to build a certain level of confidence between the student & teacher for the communication and learning to be easier. We can all agree that french is not an easy language, BUT with the right tools and work, you can reach a certain level in no time!
