Teaching provides a necessary balance to my analytical career. I hold a BS Statistics from UC Berkeley and spend my professional life working in BI at a SaaS unicorn.
Statistics and probability form the basis of most modern decision making. I work with students who need to build strong fundamentals from scratch. I have spent 5 years teaching these concepts to various age groups. It is rewarding to watch a student finally grasp complex arithmetic.
Competition math prep is a particular area where I see rapid growth. Vedic math techniques often provide the shortcut someone needs to break through a wall. Helping others solve difficult problems is what I enjoy most.
