About Damian
I am currently studying Biomedical Science (BSc) at the University of Surrey and have a strong passion for helping students improve both their confidence and academic performance. I understand that every student learns differently, which is why I aim to create lessons that are supportive, patient and personalised to each individual’s needs.
I enjoy breaking down difficult topics into simple explanations and helping students feel more comfortable with subjects they may struggle with. I also prepare lessons in advance based on the topics students would like help with, allowing sessions to be focused, organised and productive. My goal is not only to help students achieve better grades, but also to help them build confidence, improve problem-solving skills and develop a positive attitude towards learning.

I am a Biomedical Science (BSc) student at the University of Surrey offering tutoring in maths, science, biology, chemistry and applied science for GCSE/BTEC students. Additional subjects can also be discussed depending on the student’s needs. My lessons are 1 hour long minimum and designed to be supportive, engaging and personalised to each student’s learning style and academic goals.
Before each lesson, students can let me know the topics or areas they would like help with so I can prepare in advance and provide focused, in-depth support during the session. Lessons include clear explanations, exam technique guidance, active recall methods, practice questions and step-by-step support to strengthen understanding and build confidence. My goal is to create a positive and comfortable learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, improve academically and reach their full potential.
