About Hamza

Hello! I’m a 4th-year medical student at King's College London, currently working on clinical hospital placement in the William Harvey Hospital in Kent. Having successfully navigated the competitive medical entry process, I know how to study efficiently and tackle high-stakes exams.

I am patient, encouraging, and passionate about helping students build real confidence in subjects they previously found intimidating. I offer both interactive online lessons and in-person sessions around Ashford.

About the lesson

I provide structured, high-energy 1-to-1 tuition in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Maths for KS3 and GCSE students.

As a 4th-year medical student, I apply core scientific principles daily and know exactly what it takes to master STEM subjects. Standard school teaching often makes science and maths feel overly rigid and confusing. My approach turns passive misunderstanding into active comprehension, helping students grasp why concepts work rather than just memorising mark schemes.

A typical session runs like this:

1) Initial concept review: Breaking the topic down into simple, digestible steps using clear visual explanations.

2) Exam technique: Working directly through past paper questions to master command words, mark scheme traps, and required practicals.

3) Personalising the strategy: Identifying exact weak points early so every hour spent yields clear, measurable progress.

This is how my students improve their marks, over and over again.

Whether your child needs a consistent weekly boost, structured mock prep, or a complete confidence overhaul, I adapt every session to their specific exam board (AQA, Edexcel, OCR) and learning style.

I’ve lived with Hamza as his flatmate and he’s always been the type of person who’s happy to help people out. He’ll literally drive his friends places if they need it and never really makes a big deal out of helping someone. He’s easy to get along with, patient and reliable, so I think he’d be really good at making students feel comfortable and explaining things without making it stressful. I’d definitely recommend him as a tutor.
