About Michael
I am an educator with over 15 years of professional experience in secondary education (grades 7-12) and higher education. I have been a department chair, a learning center coordinator, a lesson plan/curriculum writer, and an instructional technology specialist. I teach teachers, students, and medical professionals on a wide range of topics including, but not limited to, math, science, statistics, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Final Cut Pro X, Blender, and 3D printing.

I am an experienced educator with success in tutoring a wide range of subjects from middle school mathematics to college level calculus II. I am available to tutor any middle school and high school math course, SAT math prep, Praxis 1 and 2 test prep, and college level algebra, calculus 1 and 2, and statistics, as well as logic and reasoning.
While tutoring, I tend to learn how the student learns and adapt my explanations and activities to better meet the needs of each and every unique learner. In my career, I’ve hired and trained tutors at the college level, provided professional development for teachers across three schools, and designed curriculum for entire school districts. In addition, several of my lesson plans have been published by LearnZillion.
