About Julia
I'm starting my last year of high school in the Bay Area, California. I have been running cross country and track and field for many years, and I'm fluent in 3 languages (English, French, Czech). A lot of my other time is spent with the French community, usually associated with the French club at school. I'm a huge traveler and adventurer and love science! I'm hoping to become something like a medicinal chemist that will develop new medicines. I spend half my summers volunteering at a French summer camp, and the other half in Europe visiting my family. I value hard work, determination, and close relationships. I also love food :)

Hi there! I've been through the endless struggles of trying to understand chem and math, and I've been through the trials and errors to figure out what works. I know from personal experience how important it is to find a strategy that works for each individual student, and I'm committed to making sure students understand the content, not just memorize it. I have plenty of experience working with kids/students from all ages from my time as a camp counselor and as an avid tutor. I'm happy to do online classes if that's more convenient, and can certainly adjust my schedule. I hope to see you soon!
