About Solomon
Hi! I’m a high school student who really enjoys math and science, and I love helping other students understand concepts that might seem difficult at first. I’ve taken advanced courses in subjects like biology, physics, and calculus, and I’ve also had experience with public speaking. This has helped me become a confident and clear communicator who can explain ideas in a way that is easy to understand.
As a tutor, I’m patient, approachable, and willing to explain things in different ways until they make sense. I want my students to feel comfortable asking questions and confident in their abilities. My lessons combine direct teaching with practice problems and homework, so students can learn the concept and then apply it themselves.

What sets me apart as a tutor is that I know what it’s like to be a student who doesn’t understand something right away. I try to explain things in a simple way that actually makes sense instead of just relying on memorization. I like breaking difficult concepts into smaller parts and explaining them in different ways until they click. I also want students to feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, because that’s a big part of learning.
My lessons would be a mix of teaching and practice. I’d start by going over the topic and explaining anything that’s confusing, then we’d work through practice problems or homework together. I like helping students figure out where they’re getting stuck and guiding them through the problem rather than just giving them the answer. My goal is for them to leave the lesson feeling more confident and able to do the problems on their own.
