About Corrie
Physics started for me when I realized that most people simply memorize formulas instead of understanding how the universe actually functions. Twelve years later, I still find it incredibly rewarding to break down the mechanics behind complex systems. My PhD candidacy at UC Berkeley allows me to connect rigorous academic theory with the practical intuition needed for high school and college exams. Watching a student finally visualize optics or solve a numerical problem with confidence is the most enjoyable part of my work.
