About Cristina

I am a higher education professional dedicated to supporting high school seniors and college students as they prepare for internships, scholarships, leadership opportunities, and graduate school pathways. Through my work in student leadership development and campus engagement, I help students build confidence and successfully navigate important academic and career transitions.

I specialize in helping students strengthen resumes, identify internship opportunities, and translate their leadership and campus involvement into professional experiences. I am especially passionate about supporting first-generation college students and students from diverse backgrounds as they explore pathways to success.

My approach is supportive, structured, and personalized to each student’s goals. I work closely with students to ensure they leave sessions with clear next steps and practical tools they can use immediately.

Virtual evening sessions available for students across New Jersey and nationwide. I offer a short introductory consultation to learn about each student’s goals before our first session.

About the lesson

My lessons are personalized to each student’s goals and designed to help them feel confident and prepared as they move forward in their academic and professional journey.

During our sessions, I support students with resume development, internship search strategies, scholarship guidance, leadership experience translation, and graduate school preparation. I work with both high school seniors preparing for college opportunities and undergraduate students seeking internships or exploring next steps after graduation.

Each session typically includes:
• Reviewing the student’s goals and priorities
• Strengthening or editing resumes
• Identifying internship or scholarship opportunities
• Translating leadership and campus involvement into professional experience
• Creating a clear action plan with next steps

My approach is supportive, structured, and practical. Students leave each session with specific improvements completed and strategies they can immediately apply.

I especially enjoy supporting first-generation college students and students navigating these processes for the first time, and I aim to create a welcoming environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence.

Sessions are offered virtually during evening hours to accommodate student schedules. Students can bring resumes, drafts, or questions to sessions, or we can start from the beginning and build materials together step by step.
