About Giselle

(automatic translation) Since more than 15 years I have been teaching various harp students, from beginners to professionals, from young to old. The teaching method is personally tailored according to your level and personal desires.
In the Netherlands, my native country, Germany and Brazil, I worked at various music schools and I have also teached privately. From 2011 until 2012 I was adjunct professor harp at the Musikgymnasium Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach in Berlin. In 2015 and 2016 I was a visiting professor at the International Music Festival in Pelotas, RS, Brazil where I have taught many talented harpists. From 2016 until 2019 I was adjunct professor harp at the Lübeck Academy of Music

About the lesson

(automatic translation) Since more than 15 years I have been teaching various harp students, from beginners to professionals, from young to old. The teaching method is personally tailored according to your level and personal desires.

The harp is very suitable as an initial instrument because there are fixed-tuned sounds like the piano. After the first lessons you will be able to play a beautiful song.

With a fresh start, it is important to know that is required of the student that he practices at home everyday, so there is a constant development. That way you will notice that the teaching and playing the harp will make it even more fun. During class music styles such as Classical, Irish and Scottish folk music, Breton folk music, South American music, jazz and improvisation are treated. Depending on personal wishes we can make a preference of musical styles during the class. The basic technique is treated very important for overall development. Depending on the request, we can prepare harp duos (along with the teacher), because the interaction brings much joy and also brings an important share of the development of hearing. Also I teach more advanced students and professional harpist. Many of my students have won competitions and were admitted in music colleges to study. I offer personal coaching for preparations for concerts, competitions, entrance exams. If you are interested or curious, please contact me.

Perfect!
