About Ricky
I'm a former SEN classroom assistant with experience supporting students with ADHD and Autism through KS3 and up to GCSE level. I am currently teaching ESL/English Language skills in South Korea and have been doing it for a total of 8 years. I have taught a range of pupils at both Primary and Secondary age. In September 2023, I began my Primary teacher training in the UK.
I have made custom curriculums and programs focusing on a range of language and literature skills including debate and essay writing. I also created and ran presentation and creative writing classes, each tailored to the pupils attending the classes. I also changed several difficult and complex concepts into successful game/activity-focused lessons.

I aim to target my lessons to each student's needs and particular struggles with the subject or concept they need to understand. To do this, I believe it is important to get to know my students and bring them into the learning process.
I have experience helping students prepare for Junior TOEFL, school examinations, English speaking/writing contests and international school applications.
I offer 30-60 minute lessons to KS2 and KS3 pupils of all abilities in both English and ESL.
