About Walesca
I'm Walesca, a first-generation Haitian American from Brooklyn, New York. I speak English, Spanish, and Haitian Creole — so I know personally what it means to navigate multiple languages and cultures, and what it takes to truly become confident in a new one.
I hold a Master of Arts in Computer Science from Pace University and am TEFL certified. My teaching background includes a full-time Spanish instructor role at a charter school in Brooklyn and two years delivering live online English lessons to children across the globe through VIPKid. Outside the classroom, I'm a licensed massage therapist, wellness entrepreneur, and lifelong learner who believes growth happens when people feel safe, seen, and supported.
I bring that same philosophy to every lesson — patience, warmth, structure, and genuine investment in your progress.
