About Keneuwe

My name is Keneuwe Mosholi, and I am an Economics graduate with a BCom in Economic Sciences, specialising in Economics and Econometrics, which I completed cum laude at North-West University, followed by a BCom Honours in Economics. My academic journey has developed my analytical, research and problem-solving skills and deepened my understanding of economic principles and their impact on individuals, businesses and society.

I am interested in teaching because I believe education is a powerful tool for empowering people and creating opportunities. Economics is a subject that helps learners understand the world around them, from unemployment, inflation and inequality to interest rates, government policies and economic growth. I would like to help learners connect these concepts to their everyday lives, develop critical-thinking skills and become informed decision-makers.

I also see teaching as an opportunity to share the knowledge I have gained, inspire learners to develop an interest in Economics, and contribute positively to their academic and personal growth. I would find fulfilment in helping learners overcome challenges, build confidence in their abilities and realise their potential. For me, teaching Economics is not only about explaining theories but also about equipping learners with practical knowledge and skills they can use throughout their lives.

I have a solid academic background in the discipline, having completed a BCom in Economic Sciences, specialising in Economics and Econometrics, with cum laude recognition, followed by a BCom Honours in Economics at North-West University. My academic journey has equipped me with a strong understanding of economic principles, macroeconomic analysis, econometrics, fiscal policy and economic development.

Furthermore, my honours research experience, including research published in the *International Journal of Economics and Financial Issues*, has strengthened my analytical thinking, research, problem-solving and ability to interpret complex economic concepts. I can use these skills to explain economic theories clearly, relate them to real-world issues and encourage learners to think critically about economic challenges.

My professional experience in financial services has also exposed me to practical financial decision-making, lending and the assessment of financial information. I believe this combination of academic knowledge, research experience and practical exposure would enable me to make Economics relevant, engaging and accessible to learners. I am committed to continuous learning, effective communication and creating a supportive learning environment in which learners can develop a genuine understanding.
