About Walter
Sitting in a lecture hall at UNSW, I realized that math is just a toolkit for decoding the world. My background combines a Bachelor of Commerce in Actuarial Studies with a BSc in Data Science. These 8 years of experience have taught me how to bridge the gap between abstract linear algebra and practical coordinate geometry.
I guide advanced learners and hobbyists through the nuances of trigonometry and complex word problems. Mental math and Vedic math techniques are often the hidden keys to faster exam preparation for my students. Working on SAT or ACT prep allows me to see how different number sense challenges appear in various testing environments.
When we tackle mensuration or algebraic proofs together, I aim to show the underlying structure rather than just the rote formula. Mathematics becomes much less intimidating when you can see the logical progression from one variable to the next.

Good teaching is basically about finding the right entry point for every student. It is quite interesting how often a small shift in perspective clears up a massive concept.
We start with a free trial class to identify your specific weak areas. My lessons focus on building a robust foundation in arithmetic before jumping into the heavy lifting of linear algebra. You can expect to move through coordinate geometry using methods learned during my time at UNSW. 8 years of experience helps me spot exactly why you are getting stuck on a word problem.
Speed. We work on timing and mental math strategies to keep you sharp. Every session is designed to make the mechanics of trigonometry feel like second nature.
It is a methodical process that rewards consistent practice over time. Let me know when you would like to start.
