About Andy

With a Bachelor's degree from Hunter College and a professional background in high school education, I bring a high level of expertise to my tutoring. I have spent years working with diverse learners, including students with ADHD and special educational needs. I am committed to maintaining a high standard of professionalism, offering clear communication, consistent results, and a teaching style that is both patient and highly effective for all ages.

About the lesson

I believe learning should be something kids actually love. I am a high school teacher and Hunter College grad who connects lessons to things like gaming, sports, and cartoons to keep students focused. I offer 24/7 text support and a first free session to ensure we are a perfect match. I am patient, energetic, and dedicated to turning academic frustration into genuine confidence for my students.

Andy is very punctual and polite, and his rates are the lowest in craigslist and New York. He even offered to go lower if I could not afford! Highly recommend.

My 8th grader struggled with Earth Science. Andy shows him how to use the reference table as well as looking at keywords within the question and options to ensure the correct answer, and helps him over text all the time for free

I called Andy because my son dreaded homework, he would give up because he couldn't understand the teacher's method of explaining. Andy is very patient and makes sure my son understands the concept before going to the next one.
