About Alexandra

Hello! I’m Alexandra, a final-year Business Management student at King’s College London and a friendly, approachable tutor with over 3 years of experience helping students build confidence and reach their academic potential. I am currently studying for my Level I CFA!

I graduated from the International Baccalaureate with a score of 39/45, achieving a 7/7 in HL Italian, 7/7 in HL French B, 6/7 in HL Economics, and 6/7s in both SL English Literature and Mathematics. My strong academic background, combined with years of tutoring experience, allows me to support students across a range of subjects — especially languages, humanities, and business-related courses.

I’m a native English speaker, fluent in both French and Italian, and I especially enjoy working with language learners to improve their confidence in reading, writing, and speaking. I’ve supported both younger students and peers, and I know how much of a difference a warm, supportive learning space can make.

About the lesson

My lessons are tailored to each student’s individual needs, whether they need help with reading comprehension, writing, grammar, vocabulary or improving their confidence in English. I use clear explanations and engaging examples to make lessons enjoyable and easy to follow. Lessons can focus on specific areas students are struggling with, schoolwork, essay writing, revision and exam preparation. My aim is to help students communicate clearly and confidently while developing skills they can use both academically and in everyday life.

I had the pleasure of teaching IB Mathematics to Alexandra for two years. She is a meticulous student, she is passionate about her learning and is equally passionate about helping others. In addition she is extremely personable and I see her connecting very well with her tutees. I believe she would make an excellent tutor in her chosen field, and I have no issue in thoroughly recommending her.
