About Raphael
I’m a first year Electrical and Electronic Engineering student at Imperial College London who’s achieved A*A*A*A*A at A-level A* in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and French and A in Chemistry. I’ve been tutoring for a little over two years, teaching kids at my school with proven success. Having been through both French and English systems I can teach GCSEs, A-levels, Brevet and Baccalaureate.

I don’t just teach by showing the solution, nor do I simply walk through the solution, I get the student to figure out the solution with hints and helps here and there. I find this method allows the student to really understand what’s going on, instead of robotically following a method, and this is crucial for any science subject. Students get a grasp of the concept quicker and are able to autonomously solve problems ASAP. Typically a certain topic or certain questions will be shared beforehand and I will prepare the lesson with mnemonic techniques and relevant warm up and challenging questions.
