My lessons are developed around fundamental motifs. By designing each interaction around a single idea, I can give multiple examples of where the idea may apply. For beginners, we will focus on opening principals, piece development and placement, and exploring the idea of calculation. Intermediate lessons include building a repertoire, recognizing tactical structures, and improving visualization. Advanced lessons include openings-at-depth, middlegame strategies, and improving overall strength.

- Ian has a strong grasp of chess principles and is very receptive to suggestions for improvement.Larry's response :
Takeaways from the lesson were that moves should be strategic - being made for a number of good reasons. Second is that blunders occur at every level of play, and that limiting them is the easiest way to improve quickly.

Amazing chess master. He is calculating and concise, while also friendly and patient. Could speak more highly on him and his processing of the game.
