About Jakob
I have 2 years of tutoring and mentoring experience. I have taught a total of 19 students in Maths, Further Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Coding in Python. My current year 13 students have 3A*s 1A/A* prediction and an offer from top Russel Group universities including Cambridge, Imperial, LSE, and UCL.

My tutoring style consists of first understanding the pupil’s level, e.g. by using past papers. From there, I create a lesson plan targeting the specific areas that the pupil found challenging. I teach my students how to solve problems via practice questions. Problem-solving is really essential for STEM subjects, especially for further-maths where the Exam questions tend to be tricky and heavily timed. I not only teach them how to solve the given question but also how to make those connections in their head that leads them to solve the problems fast. My methodology has proven to be effective time and time again.
