Hi! My name is Joshua, and I am a senior from Hollywood, Florida. My passion for mathematics has flourished throughout my high school career, and I am excited to carry this into college at Cornell University! I hope to share this fervor with my students, further exploring the amazingly complex world of numbers.

I move away from rote memorization and focus on first-principles thinking. Especially in subjects like Calculus or Statistics, I believe if you can’t visualize the "why" behind a formula, you haven’t truly mastered the topic.
Socratic Method: Instead of feeding answers, I ask targeted questions to help students bridge the gap in their own logic.
Active Recall: I focus on pattern recognition so students can identify “types” of problems, signaling what is needed to solve a given question.
