About Varvara
Movement is life. As a doctor, I want to be involved in every step of people's health, from prevention to rehabilitation. I know anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology, which means I understand many small and large processes in the human body. I would love to help you understand and feel your body better and enhance its amazing abilities through Pilates.

I am a newly qualified mat Pilates instructor (L3 level, YMCA accredited). I was trained in classical Pilates, with contemporary adjustments and modifications. I tailor each session to clients' needs and requirements. During the sessions, I use small props such as a yoga ball, wide and slim or short and thick yoga blocks, and bands.
In addition to individually prepared sessions, I also do postural assessments and range-of-motion measurements using a goniometer. It usually takes around an hour, so the first session can be dedicated towards it and documentation (PAR-Q and informed consent).
Sessions usually take from 45 to 60 minutes and are suitable for adults (18+). I prefer offline sessions (at a client's place/park), but if offline is not an option, we can meet once for a postural assessment and to sign forms before moving to online classes.
I am not currently qualified in perinatal Pilates, but I will obtain this qualification soon, so stay tuned if you need me in the future.
