About Sean
I am a committed Saxophone tutor with 16+ years of teaching experience and have guided around 150 students toward musical improvement. I teach students of all levels and focus on steady growth through clear and supportive instruction.
My tutoring style combines structure, flexibility, and encouragement. I customize lessons to match each student’s learning style and musical goals. I aim to make lessons engaging while ensuring measurable progress.
Lessons emphasize core saxophone skills such as proper breathing, embouchure strength, tone quality, finger technique, and rhythm accuracy. As students improve, I help them develop musical expression, improvisation, and performance skills.
Alongside saxophone lessons, I also teach music theory, sight-reading, and ear training. My goal is to help students become confident and expressive saxophone players with a strong musical foundation.

In my saxophone classes, I focus on step-by-step development from beginner to advanced level. I start with basic breathing exercises and tone control before moving to scales, articulation patterns, and expressive phrasing.
I motivate students by encouraging discipline and celebrating improvements. Communication is simple and clear, allowing students to fully understand technical concepts and performance techniques. Integrity guides my teaching process, and I ensure students master each level before progressing further.
Creativity is developed through playing along with backing tracks and practicing improvisation. I also teach music theory and sight reading to strengthen musical understanding beyond the instrument.
