About Marvin

Professional summary: A veteran educator with over 35 years experience in a variety of settings- 7 years in adult education, 23 years in university-affiliated intensive English programs, 4 years military language schools, and one year divided between Spanish language enrichment courses for primary school level and general substitute teaching in secondary school. Experience is divided between 20 years inside the US and 15 years in other countries (11 in the United Arab Emirates and 4 in Saudi Arabia).

About the lesson

My approach is interrogative-didactic. I query my students if they know the answer (often by quizzing). I then (re)introduce the subject and then present, using media as needed. I then administer another quiz. I can explain also in these languages: Spanish, French, Portuguese, German, Dutch, Russian, and Arabic.
