About Kyle

I have an Ivy League engineering degree and a graduate degree in Applied Mathematics, and I spent the last two years teaching undergraduate math courses at CU Boulder. What I really enjoy is helping students in small groups or one-on-one environments, where it's easier for students to be comfortable and candid.

Don't just take my word for my teaching qualifications -- here's a review that a former student left me:

"Kyle was extremely helpful whenever I had questions in recitation, and he would answer my question in multiple different ways with different applicable examples if I didn't understand. Overall, he is an amazing TA that is very dedicated to helping the students understand." - CU Boulder Calculus 1 student, fall 2020

Please don't hesitate to reach out to see if we're a good fit for each other!

If you're looking for help with anything from high school-level to advanced mathematics, please reach out! I want to meet you where you're at with a subject in a patient, judgment-free, and encouraging way, whether you need refreshers on prior material or want enrichment beyond the scope of what you're learning.

I want to personalize my teaching for you, which is why our first meeting will focus on laying out exactly what you want to get out of our tutoring sessions. However, in general, you can expect that I'll be willing to
- develop and walk you through practice problems
- write quizzes to test your understanding
- give mini-lessons as needed
- provide enrichment and applications beyond the course material
