Hi I'm Julianne and I am a graduate student from the University of Victoria, Canada and I want to help you with your English! I received A+ grades and have written about 200 essays in my career.

About Julianne
I love English! I love listening, reading, watching and learning the language.
I am extremely introverted (though I love to teach) and I partake in activities such as knitting, crocheting, reading, painting and cooking/ baking. Aside from basically being a grandmother (even though I am a mere 22 years old), I also play soccer and I love to swim.
I have an 18 and a half year old dog Bailey, whom I love very much, a rather overweight cat named Fezz and a rescue kitten from Mexico named Panucho. I love animals and I especially love birds. Bird watching is one of my favourite past times.
I do not participate in social media (with the exemption of facebook for business purposes) though I do not judge those who do use it!
My family means more to me than anything, I have 2 parents and 2 older brothers.
I don't understand how boats float or how planes fly and I don't believe ever will and I think that's okay.
I am inclusive and a safe space for people to express themselves however that may be! I love it.
I look forward to hopefully meeting you...

English is fun and I will show you how. The language is beautiful, complex and full of history, culture and knowledge.
My lessons will be discussion based, I want you to be participating and enjoy yourself as much as I do. I will provide the amount of work that the individual is comfortable with. I understand schedules can get hectic and life is unpredictable, therefore deadlines will not be strict for I just want to see your progress and help you develop strong essays, assignments and a thorough understanding of the subject.
I can teach from levels of elementary, grade school and college/ university as I have my academic writing requirements.
As a tutor I am not going to do the work for you and have you copy me. Rather, I will be here to guide you, answer your questions, provide examples and further develop your understanding of both reading and writing the English language.
