I was tutored by him throughout Year 13 and he helped me improve from a D to a B, which I honestly didn’t think I would be able to achieve. His teaching style is very interactive, and he explains concepts using clear examples and real-life context, which makes it much easier to understand how to apply economic theory and secure those important application marks.

He is particularly good at explaining diagrams and graphs, providing detailed analysis across both Microeconomics and Macroeconomics and showing exactly how to structure an effective explanation. Whenever I struggled to understand a concept, he was extremely patient, supportive and motivating, and always found a different way of explaining it until it clicked.

A major strength of his tutoring is his focus on exam technique. He regularly went through past-paper questions with me, identified trends in the topics that commonly appear, and used mark schemes and examiner reports to explain exactly what examiners are looking for in high-level answers. We also planned essays together as it was an efficient and time effective way to revise. This made a huge difference to how I approached questions and helped me gradually improve my grades.

He is an amazing, hardworking and genuinely inspiring tutor, and I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants to improve their Economics and work towards the top grades, including A/A*.
