About Zahara
I am a 3rd year Biomedical Sciences student at King’s College London, and I have an enhanced DBS. I have a strong passion for science, particularly biology, and I enjoy teaching and making science more enjoyable for my students.
Outside of tuition, I enjoy arts and crafts of all kind, including knitting, sewing, drawing, painting etc, as well as reading. This really helps to relax me and take away from the stress of university.

Lessons with me are fully tailored to the needs of my student, and I adapt my teaching style to allow for easy understanding. I teach 1 hour lessons online and therefore lesson timings can be flexible and easy for both parties. I am able to help my students with content, exam practice and exam technique depending on their needs.
I usually begin with identifying any problems the student is having, and making a list so I know what to focus on. I then teach the topic the student requests, (I can teach any topic the student asks for without preparation) and continue with the flow of the lesson. My students are more than welcome to request me to cover specific subjects for upcoming tests etc.
I have been an online tutor in GCSE Biology and Chemistry for over a year, and I have helped many students achieve their best in their GCSEs. For example, my year 11 student from last year achieved a level 8 in both Biology and Chemistry after being my student for 8 months.
