About Ms Kya
After my time as a Theatre Studies undergraduate, I obtained a Postgraduate Certificate of Education in Primary Education specialising in the performing arts and equality, inclusion & citizenship. I have taught across the key stages in a range of settings including in international schools. I particularly enjoy teaching the reception year and drama & theatre studies for all ages. I have significant experience doing so.
With a passion for empowering my pupils, I strive to develop self-confidence and an enjoyment of learning.
My interest in clothes making and costuming led me to courses in fashion and costume design and I enjoy making & designing clothing to empower the wearer.
I am an advocate for the creative arts for all, and I am inspired by the transformative essence of the arts. A strong believer of utilising art education within and beyond the curriculum.

I have taught for 20 years in a range of settings, across the key stages and with a range of learners.
My main goal for you is to develop your self-confidence to grow your skills for you to apply in your work/life. This is done quickly and efficiently.
