About Marize

Hi! I’ve always been someone who learns and thinks a little differently. For a long time, that made me feel like I wasn’t smart enough, especially when I struggled to understand things the way they were being taught. I eventually realised that I didn’t need to be “smarter” — I just needed someone to explain things in a way that worked for me. That experience is one of the reasons I want to tutor. I want to help students find the way of learning that works best for them, build their confidence and show them that struggling with something doesn’t mean they aren’t capable. I’m patient, understanding and determined to make learning feel less stressful and more achievable.

About the lesson

I know what it feels like when learning doesn’t come easily, which is why I believe the right support can make all the difference. With patience, encouragement and a little confidence, the sky really is the limit! I love working with kids and making English feel less scary and more enjoyable. Whether you need help with the basics, literature, poetry or test preparation, my lessons are friendly, supportive and focused on helping you succeed.
