About Michelle
My name is Michelle, and I’m a native Korean speaker currently living in Australia. I know what it feels like to move to a completely new country where you don’t know anyone or had never been before, so I understand how exciting and challenging it can be to experience a new culture.
Learning a new language opens the door to so many opportunities, and I’d love to share my language and culture with you! My hope is that one day, you’ll feel confident enough to make Korean friends, explore Korea beyond the usual tourist spots, and experience our culture like a local. Let’s make learning Korean fun, practical, and a little adventure of its own!

My lessons are typically 60 minutes long, and I personalise each class to suit your level, goals, and interests. We can start with the basics of Hangul and grammar in a fun, stress-free way, or focus on improving your speaking skills to sound more like a native speaker!
I’m flexible with my teaching approach, so feel free to reach out if you need help with any aspect of learning Korean. If you’re a fan of K-dramas or K-pop, we can incorporate drama scenes and song lyrics into our lessons.
Beyond the language itself, I love sharing authentic Korean culture, from everyday expressions and how to show respect to elders to Korean food, drinking culture, and even how to make so-maek! My goal is to make learning Korean enjoyable, practical, and relevant to real life.
