My lessons are tailored to each student’s needs, interests and goals. Whether you are a complete beginner or already have some knowledge of Italian, we will work together to improve your language skills in a relaxed and friendly environment.
We will focus on conversation, pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar through practical exercises and real-life situations. I also enjoy introducing students to Italian culture, cinema, traditions and everyday life.
Imagine spending a day in an Italian city without speaking English!
We'll begin with a real-life situation: you're visiting Rome and need to find your way around. Through pictures, short dialogues and everyday scenarios, we'll discover useful expressions and vocabulary.
Rather than studying grammar in isolation, we'll introduce it naturally as we encounter new situations. You'll learn how to ask for directions, understand answers, describe places and interact with local people.
The lesson will also include a little challenge: I'll give you different situations and you'll have to find your own way to communicate in Italian!
We'll finish by reviewing what you've learnt, looking at your progress and identifying the things we can improve together in our next lesson.
I believe learning a language should be an enjoyable experience, so I encourage students to speak, make mistakes and learn naturally, at their own pace.
Each lesson is an opportunity to discover not only the Italian language, but also the culture behind it!
