About Sreynuon

Hello Everyone! Sus-sdei I’m Sreynuon (Silei), a native Khmer teacher with over 6 years of experience. I speak Khmer, English, French, Chinese and I love helping learners from around the world connect with the Khmer language and culture. I’m also an experienced Khmer and English translator, offering professional services tailored to your communication needs. Over the years, I’ve helped more than 200 students, including travelers, volunteers, workers, children, and professionals, learn to speak Khmer with confidence. Each student has helped me refine my lesson planning, materials, and methods to create structured, engaging, and effective learning experiences.

My Lessons and Teaching Style

My teaching combines language instruction with cultural immersion, so you’ll not only learn Khmer but also experience the heart of Cambodian life. I focus on helping students learn easily, quickly, and confidently, so they can speak like a local and connect with the culture authentically.

Whether you’re preparing for a trip, reconnecting with your roots, or simply curious about Khmer, I’ll support you every step of the way with patience, encouragement, and clarity.

All courses include full materials for all levels (A1–C1/C2).

First Lesson

In our trial class, let's begin by getting to know each other! We'll discuss your background, hobbies, and what excites you about learning Khmer. Additionally, I'll assess your current skills and explore different approaches to ensure our lessons meet your learning style. Together, we’ll review a checklist of the lesson plan so you can clearly see how everything is structured and personalized to meet your goals. At the very least, we’ll have a chance to talk about your goals, learning needs, and experience with Khmer. This helps me refine how I support your learning journey. By the end of our trial session, I will create a personalized lesson plan to guarantee a structured and effective learning journey for us both.
