About Daniel
Daniel is a versatile musician & engineer who works for the love of art & storytelling. From the studio to film sound or music composition, his impressive attention to detail and high standards sets him apart, creating successful projects in many fields. Both technical and creative, Daniel has successfully delivered for clients and brings great value to any project. He is an early adopter at heart, always at the forefront of new technology and ideas.
Daniel's work falls on the intersection of music & technology, with intentional use of natural space and reverberation. With much experience in classical, folk, rock & electronic genres, he is equally at home in the realms of composition, orchestration & music theory as he is in audio production & post-production.
Based in Chew Valley, Bristol.

1-1 Music Tuition
Every individual has creativity within them and has the ability to explore music and express themselves through music; they only need the opportunity to flourish and to be encouraged. Everyone deserves their chance to engage in the arts, to express and create. A modern tuition, for the modern musician.
Daniel Finch is friendly and welcoming of new students, believing in giving everyone an equal start. His music tutoring is very accessible for those just beginning, starting up again after a long time or who are experienced and looking to develop their skillset — with experience working alongside Students with SEND; from starting school to university, anyone can benefit from music and Daniel's sessions.
Interactive, fun, educational, and engaging, supported by real-world experiences and projects rather than just theory — all lessons are designed uniquely for the individual. While understanding the theory behind a concept is important, he believes it is equally important actually to do what you are learning about; Daniel blends modern non-traditional teaching methods with the best traditional methods have to offer.
Students with music skills have also been proven to have greater attainment in school for Maths, Science and Languages; hand-eye coordination improves as a result of music education. One can benefit from these sessions alongside other tuition, improving their development both in school or university or their external guitar or piano lessons.
